Designer Kristin Laass and Norman Ebelt have a great solution for anyone who lives in a small living space like small apartments or flats. This German-based design is called Small Type and it has the wonderful and extremely practical ability of fitting in almost any interior.
Measuring only one square meter when closed, this compact kitchen serves as a table, a refrigerator, an oven, a sink and a storage space. This design is not only practical, but also looks amazing. It could easily be complemented by a simple set of chairs in order to create a cozy work area. Small Type compact kitchen design was showcased at the DMY International Design Festival Berlin 2010 and it is one of the six small kitchens presented by students.
